SCRAPBOOKING with JUNGLE ANIMALS

SATURDAY, MARCH 15, 10a-12p.Ages 7-10. Children explore and develop their creativity in the magical world of scrapbooking using themes of nature and animals in all colors! Create two (12 by 12) WILD layouts. Bring 12 small photos. Conducted by fifteen year veteran scrap booking artist and author, Lisa Miller. (www.thescrapprincess.com).

WILD LIFE PAINTING

SATURDAY, APRIL 12. 10a-12p. Age 11-14. This class focuses on learning to sketch animal forms that translate into a painting -from your pet to wild jungle creatures. Bring favorite pictures and a cover up. Burt Schumann exhibits nationally and at the Bennington (VT) Center for the Arts. He is a member of the Society of Animal Artists, and has won numerous art awards.

FANSEAFUL FISH

SATURDAY, APRIL 26, 10a-12p. Ages 7-10.  Join Virginia Buck, artist and children’s book illustrator/author (www.fanseafultales.com), in designing and creating your own imaginative “Fanseaful Fish”-from sea horses to flying fish-and embellishing it with a variety of textures and materials.

SCRAPBOOKING with ZOO CREATURES

SATURDAY, MAY 3, 10a-12p. Ages 11-14.  Create beautiful memories, blending photos with exciting animal prints, stickers, and your imagination.  Scrapbook artist, Lisa Miller, will help you to feature favorite photos into two (12 by 12) page designs. Please bring 12 small favorite photos.

BABY ANIMALS

SATURDAY, MAY 10. 10a-12p. Ages 7-10. We invite a child and his or her mother to work together with Ann Sheridan (art instructor, MFA) to create imaginative mother and baby animals designs using printing, collage and other techniques.  Make a gift for someone special!  Workshop fee is $15.00 per couple for members; $20.00 per couple non-members.
