Portrait Painting: Sandra Wakeen
This program offers an introduction to the basics of portrait painting in oils. Sandra Wakeen served on the board of directors for the Lyme Art Association, and is presently regional director of the Ct Society of Portrait Artists. Her work is found in The Permanent collection of the New Britain Museum of American Art and The Florence Griswold Museum. She exhibits at The Susan Powell Gallery in Madison and The PS Gallery in Litchfield.

Landscape Painting in Watercolor: Bob Noreika
Join Bob Noreika as he demonstrates the creation of a landscape painting step by step. Bob Noreika is a nationally known award winning artist. He won the prestigious John Stobart Foundation Award at the Mystic Maritime Show in 2007 and has illustrated over ten children’s books. He exhibits, teaches, and lectures throughout New England.

Landscape Painting in Oils: Jennifer Holmes
Observe techniques for creating oil landscapes with mood and excitement. Jennifer Holmes received her BFA from CCSU, exhibits at the Lyme Art Association as an Elected Artist, Just Looking Gallery in West Hartford Susan Powell Gallery in Madison and the Argosy Gallery in Maine. She is a member of the Connecticut Academy of Fine Artists, New Haven Paint and Clay Club, and an Elected Artist member of the Connecticut Plein Air Painters. Wildlife Painting: Burt Schuman
Nature and wild life provide the subjects for this art journey that progresses from sketches of animal forms and ends with a finished wild life work in acrylics, capturing birds and animals in their natural surroundings. Burt Schuman exhibits nationally, including the Bennington (VT) Center for the Arts, and is a member of the Society of Animal Artists, MFA from New School, NYC.
